Download Relay Player.
Freeware. No account, licence key or licence server required. Choose the portable ZIP if you just want to unzip and run it, or the installer if you'd rather have a Start Menu entry and a proper uninstaller.
Neither file is code-signed yet, so Windows may show an "unrecognised app" warning on first run. This is expected for an unsigned, independently published tool — click More info, then Run anyway to continue. Code signing is on the roadmap; it isn't a statement about the file's safety either way, and you're welcome to scan it yourself before running it.
Release notes.
What changed in each public release. See the user guide for how everything works day to day.

- Fixed: the audio-only channel indicator showed the wrong channel artwork.
Version 1.0.1
- Added a Get Started walkthrough on first launch: add a channel, build or import a list, enable Global TV.
- Added a channel list format reference, with a sample file to save and edit.
- Added a caption auto-enable switch on the Startup tab, for unattended kiosk deployments.

- SAP network discovery for channels announced on a local or headend network.
- Recording to MPEG-TS, MP4, MOV or MPEG Program Stream, with duration control and network destination support.

System requirements.
| Operating system | Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit (x64). Not supported on 32-bit Windows or on Windows 7 or 8. |
|---|---|
| Runtime | None to install separately. The .NET 8 runtime is bundled with the application. |
| Disk space | 500 MB available. |
| Memory | 4 GB RAM minimum; 8 GB recommended. |
| Processor | Any 64-bit processor from the last several years. Streams are played and recorded without re-encoding, so processor load comes from decoding the video, not from the application itself. |
| Network | A network path capable of delivering the stream being played. UDP multicast sources require IGMP support on the network between the source and this workstation. Internet access is not required to run Relay Player, and is used only for features the operator explicitly initiates — downloading the Global TV catalogue, or playing an internet-hosted HLS stream. |
| Licensing | Freeware. No account, licence key or licence server required. |
